As a child I loved Art. My free time was spent with crayons and paints creating vivid pictures in a riot of colour. My paper dolls were always elegantly clad in fashionable clothes of various hues. They had a wardrobe which would have put Princess Diana’s wardrobe to shame! I offered Art as a subject for the O/L examination though I had no formal training and obtained a distinction. My chosen path for a career was Finance and somehow or another Art was distanced from my world. After several decades Art is again dominating my world. I am so happy that I joined Rhuani Rambukwelle my teacher to pick up my childhood fantasy and create some beautiful pieces.
